MIDDLEWICH Music will hold a 12-hour gig featuring 15 artists across two venues this Saturday, celebrating its second anniversary.

’The Bear Wych Project 2’ will take up residence on an acoustic stage in the Makers Market on Wheelock Street from 11am to 3pm, before moving into the White Bear until 11pm.

The event will be Middlewich Music’s tenth, and it has supported more than 30 acts since starting off in the White Bear in 2014.

Adam Roberts, Middlewich Music founder, said: ““We have the biggest bands we have ever had, some of which are quite a coup, and we want a festival atmosphere.”

Meanwhile, the Makers Market will return to Wheelock Street this Bank Holiday weekend, bringing together more than 50 of the very best northern artisans.

Stalls will line the street from 10am until 3pm, offering a range of award-winning food, drink, art and crafts.
