A LORRY caused a road closure in Middlewich yesterday, when it became stuck across a canal bridge.
Brooks Lane was closed by Cheshire Police late in the afternoon after they found the car transporter beached across the humpback bridge.
Drivers were stuck in queues, although the A533 remained open.
