A FAST-FOOD chain has reopened in Winsford town centre.

Subway is back open at Winsford Cross Shopping Centre following a major refurbishment.

There is a new team in charge, Anthony Deegan-Williams, 40, and 33-year-old Ray Deegan-Williams, who has worked for the chain since he was 16, starting out as s sandwich artist.

The couple also own Winsford’s new branch, at the Industrial Estate, and are looking forward to life in the town centre.

“We’re so excited to add Winsford Town Centre to our portfolio of Subway stores,” said Mr Deegan-Williams.

“We’ve owned the new store on the industrial estate since it opened in January this year, so we’re excited to now own both stores in the area and give guests a great level of consistency and service.

“It’s even more exciting as the redevelopment of the town centre has begun and our store no longer looks aged and dated.”

The branch has been closed for just over two weeks, reopening on Monday (July 24).

During this time, it underwent a full detailed remodel.

Mr Deegan-Williams said: “Guests can expect a much brighter, cleaner, fresher visit in a much more modern environment.

“We’ve pretty much got a whole new team in the store too led by Tracey, our area manager, and Marcus, our multi-store manager in Winsford.

“We really do pride ourselves on high levels of customer service.

“We recently launched the Subway Series menu which consists of chef inspired sandwiches which you can just chose without being asked a tonne of questions and our team can create them right in front of you, but of course the create your own option that Subway is known for still exists!”
