VERDIN Park Music Festival is back for 2024.

The lineup for this year’s free-to-attend festival has been revealed, offering 'something for everyone'.

With everything from a funfair to an ABBA tribute band, that certainly seems to be the case.

A town council spokesperson said: “The excitement is palpable as Northwich Town Council proudly presents the highly anticipated lineup for the Verdin Park Music Festival, lighting up the stage on June 7, 8, and 9.

“Prepare to be swept away by an unforgettable musical extravaganza amidst the enchanting ambience of Verdin Park.

“Join us for three days of music, merriment, and memories at the Verdin Park Music Festival.

“With an eclectic lineup that promises something for everyone, it’s an event you won’t want to miss.

“Mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and get ready to immerse yourself in the magic of live music under the summer sky.”

The festival begins at 6pm on Friday (June 7) with a headline set from Bjorn UK, an ABBA tribute band.

Joining them on Friday’s lineup is Electromantics, described as the UK’s 'premier 1980s electronica/new wave tribute band'.

A busy Saturday (June 8) involves a local talent show featuring artists from around Northwich, including everything from rock bands to ballad singers.

There will also be sets from Simple Minded, a Simple Minds tribute, and Deacon Blues, offering a blend of pop, rock and blues.

Sunday (June 9) will see plenty of action on the stage including performances from Faintest Idea, Crooked Little Sons, Gas Kunst, Diakka Skanks and Hazel’s Maze.

The festival comes to a close with Rare Vitamin Records Annual Diversion, showcasing a diverse lineup of emerging talents and hidden gems from the world of music.

“From indie darlings to experimental innovators, expect the unexpected as we close out the weekend with a flourish,” said a council spokesperson.
