A MAIN road was blocked following a crash.
Police were called to Holmes Chapel Road in Middlewich this afternoon, near the Miller & Carter steakhouse restaurant.
Officers arrived shortly before midday to find a blue Ford Kuga with a broken axle and a white Mercedes GLC 300 plunged deep into a bush.
"At 11.52am on Tuesday, April 23, police were called to a collision at the entrance to the Salt Cellar (Miller & Carter) in Middlewich.
"Officers attended and found there had been a collision between a Ford Kuga and a Mercedes GLC 300.
"There were no reports of any serious injuries, but the road was blocked while recovery was undertaken."
The Ford and Mercedes were removed and traffic returned to normal at around 2pm.
